Reflection House, is a new nonprofit organization and the first to establish recovery housing in Garrett County Maryland.
As a 12-month, Level 2 residential recovery program, Reflection House provides individual, supportive, and compassionate care to women in recovery from substance use disorders in Western Maryland.
Using a social enterprise model, residents receive training in life and relationship skills, job skills and real-world coping skills to support their sustained recovery.
At Reflection House, we believe that supportive recovery housing is rooted in promoting sustained recovery and include housing retention, education, employment, income progression and an overall accrual of related recovery capital. We provide a supportive bridge to recovery by enhancing access to a supportive community, health and behavioral health care services, educational opportunities, and employment to promote self-sufficiency.
Level 2 Recovery Residences, often called sober homes or sober living, are alcohol- and illicit drug-free recovery housing that use house standards, rules and peer accountability to maintain safe, healthy and structured living environments.
